Although a number of the links may be broken and a number of the images may not work. But I thought I should add that in case there was something on the site you wanted access to, but could not get to because of the upgrade.
These files will eventually be removed, but I have not set a timetable for when that will happen.
Please post ideas for what colors to use on the site and any graphic designs you have for the banner (or anywhere else for that matter) in the comments section of this post.

This is another item I plan to redesign because I do not think it is very user friendly as it currently is.
Hello all! I have updated my blog software which should make life a little easier for me as far as maintaining this website goes.
I have integrated the majority of the features my previous site had into the blogging software. Namely, the webcam is ready to go, you can see what music im playing on the right hand side of the page, everything is searchable, and I have integrated all of my new pictures using some new photo gallery software.
All and all it should just be a total improvement to the site.
However, I have not finished updating the ‘look’ of the site. Basically the colors and fonts that you are currently seeing were just being used as I created the initial layout. I intend to change the font, the background colors, and the banner logo (from Johnny B.). I also might add some rounding of the edges, not sure yet.
Anyways it was taking me a long time to do the graphic work for the site and I wanted to get it up and running so I’m just going to make everyone deal with the colors for now and I will get them fixed as soon as I have time (probably within the next week).
I hope everyone likes the new site, be sure to leave feedback (both good and bad)!
Through a pair of weekend victories MW retained control of their playoff eligibility.
Westin shut out Hughart’s Friday night for their 10th win of the season. They were then scheduled for a pair of makeup games on Sunday. MW fell short of upsetting Shockers, however received a win for their second game of the morning due to a forfeit. Bringing their regular season recorded to 11-8.
So what does this mean?
It means that your favorite team will be playing against #1 seed WUPA Tuesday evening at 6:30pm.
This is the first evening for games in the Softball Double Elimination Playoffs, which are scheduled to continue through Friday night.
March-Westin will be playing in a pair of makeup games this weekend.
Update: This weekend’s makeup games have been rescheduled.
Rather than Saturday, they are now scheduled for 10:00am and 11:00am on Sunday August 14, 2005.

MW put another win in the record books Friday night as they defeated Health Works in front of a rather rowdy crowd.
This victory was an important win for Westin as they are looking to secure a playoff birth. However many people have been voicing concerns about the constant struggle that March-Westin seems to deal with each week as they try to ensure enough players are in attendance to have a full roster. Even coach Tom has voiced concerns about the commitment level of the team.
Nevertheless, MW has extended its wining streak to 4 games as they prepare for a regular season ending 3-game weekend.
MW is scheduled to play Hughart’s on Friday the 12th at 7pm, then a pair of makeup games to be played on Saturday the 13th or Sunday the 14th.
Check back for updated dates and times for the makeup games as they become available.
There have been some requests to post some photos of my new truck.
I did not get a chance to take any photos this weekend due to poor weather conditions (I didn’t wash the truck cause I thought it was going to rain).
I will post some pics as soon as I can.

March Westin won again on Friday, August 29th extending its winning streak to 3 games. M.W. defeated Honest Abe’s Used Car Sales (Honest and used car sales in the sentence? Yes you seen it here) by a score of 15-5.
It was a solid performance for the M.W. athletes. Solid base hits, smart baserunning, and solid defense oozed from team M.W.
M.W. has moved over the .500 mark again this season taking its record to 8-7. With 4 games remaining, M.W. needs a few more wins to increase its chances of a playoff birth.

Here is a pretty interesting article from Wired News about a recent project at MIT where cell phones were used to document and predict the lives of 100 MIT faculty and staff.
“Given enough data, Eagle’s algorithms were able to predict what people — especially professors and Media Lab employees — would do next and be right up to 85 percent of the time.”
“Using data gleaned from cell-phone towers and calling information, the system is able to predict, for example, whether someone will go out for the evening based on the volume of calls they made to friends.”
