The masses were in awe this evening as Nick Mick took what could have easily been mistaken as batting practice against the opposing team on Liberatore field. ‘It was truly a spectacle’ as one onlooker described it.

Mick was 5 for 5 with 3 home runs, 12 RBI’s, and 5 runs scored. In fact, he had his first two home runs of the evening before the end of the first inning!

Although still troubled by nagging injuries, he showed no signs of weakness on this magical night. The sports world can only hope that the Softball gods will continue to bless us with more of these ‘out of this world’ performances.

Just an fyi while I’m thinking of it: I’m pretty sure I broke the statistics on the left hand side of this page a few months ago while I was doing some work on this site. Perhaps one day I will get a chance to sit down and fix everything.

Solid hitting in final inning leads team to victory.

On a personal note, I almost forgot to post about my recent softball performance. I will have to make this quick but I wanted to make sure and mention that during Saturdays game I was 3 for 4 with a double. And of course I continued to show a solid performance in the field.

So in closing I would just like to ask ‘What do you have to say now Tom?’

I have started playing around with a new content management system - Drupal.

I am using this to create a blog related to my home theater setup as I plan on doing extensive upgrades in the near future.

I will be using this blog to help organize my thoughts and to have a timeline of the projects’ progression. I thought this would be a good way for me to post some links to products that I was considering, and if the site starts getting enough traffic, I can get feedback from my visitors on their thoughts and opinions.

I am happy to report that with my assistance, the March-Westin softball team thoroughly dominated ISR during last nights match up.

I suffered a minor eye injury but was able to play through it to help lead this all-star cast of players to victory.

I’m terrified, what has this world come to… one look at wimer’s away message says it all:

Of course, I buy new windshield wipers that are supposed to be uber-cool and then they decide to update the forecast to indicate that it will never rain again… ever (or at least not in the next 10 days).

It appears now that the best buy issue is only happening on my computer… so I’ll have to look into it more and see what the difference is between (for example) my work pc and my home pc.

I have probably messed with some type of security setting on my home pc that is causing the best buy error page to be displayed.
