well, I am trying out various colors for both this blog and eventually
my main site. I saw a color scheme similar to this on another site,
but for some reason it seems to have looked better there than it does
on mine. But right now I’m too tired to change it back. Perhaps I’ll
find something I like tomorrow.

Yep, our guest of honor’s probability of attendance has been
determined to be below the threshold required to continue with the
event as it is currently scheduled.

(The party is off, sorry… so if your bored tomorrow evening give me
a call, cause I probably will be too).

The final decision will be made within a few hours, however it looks like Friday’s festivities will be postponed due to weather.

The purpose of the party was to have some kind of social event with mark before he goes out of state to work. But because of the possible storm upcoming he may not have the chance to stop in Motown as he passes through the area.

There is also the concern of a poor turnout for the same reason.

I’ll post here when the decision is official.

Well I am happy to report that I have successfully taken apart, and reassembled my laptop… twice! For those who are not in the know, I broke the connector where the power cord plugs into the laptop. And since the laptop is no longer under warrantee I decided it was time to do a little open heart surgery.

My first attempt, although successful at fixing the connector, was not very stable and I ended up re-breaking it within a week. Well I am much more confident in my design this time.

And how about that snow eh?

I am learning that the majority of the people I know are not familiar with what a weblog is; therefore here is a quick update:

I have recently been reminded of how great www.howstuffworks.com is.

It is defiantly one of my favorite websites when I’m bored (and yes, it is one of the many ways that I know everything about everything).

I think i’ll take this time to talk a little bit about how (at least
for now) my website is going to work. I will post headlines that are
related to the sites content on the front page (things like adding new
photos). And here I will make comments on more personal/day-to-day
things.

If you want to respond with comments to any of my entries (which I
HIGHLY encourage) you have to register with my site. I know that
sounds like a bit of a pain, but as soon as I’m done typing this i’m
going to change some settings to make registration as painless as
possible.

I have to require people to register in order to protect from spammers.

Also, in the future I may use this site to organize social events and
if all of my friends are registered then it makes it very easy to send
emails to everyone.

Well i think thats enough for now… I’ll come back later with more
talk about what I have in mind for my website and how it will change
the way you waste time at work

Ok, well I found some more bugs with my server when I was looking
through the error logs a little bit ago. However, I think I have
fixed everything. So now I’m going to go get something to eat, and
hope that when I come back to my desk I don’t have 100 emails sitting
in my inbox full of server errors.

Well, I think I have all of the technical items ready to go with this
blogging software. Now all i need to do is customize it so that it
blends seamlessly with my existing website. Although that’s no small
task, it should be fun.

Hey guys, well I’m going to give this blog thing a try. I dont know how well it will go, but its a start.
